Writing to the office

Use a specific subject line and include the manuscript or article identifier where available. Recommended formats include 'JEBSS ethics concern - [ID]', 'JEBSS appeal - [ID]', 'JEBSS correction - [title/DOI]' and 'JEBSS reviewer application - [surname/field]'.

Response expectations

The office should acknowledge routine correspondence within five working days and confidential ethics matters as soon as practicable. Complex cases may require verification, consultation or institutional cooperation. Acknowledgement is not a prediction of the final outcome.
