No submission or publication fees. JEBSS does not charge authors to submit, revise or publish their work.

Diamond open-access model

JEBSS is an independent academic journal that works in close cooperation with Rauf Denktaş University Scientific Research Centre while maintaining editorial independence. It operates a diamond open-access model: readers and authors are not charged. An author’s ability to pay does not enter editorial assessment because authors are not charged.

No hidden or retroactive charges

• No payment is required to submit, revise, accept or publish an article.
• No fee is required for standard tables, colour figures, supplementary material or open access.
• Editors, reviewers and board members must not request personal payment from authors.
• Optional third-party services independently purchased by an author, such as language editing, are not required by the journal and do not influence decisions.

Future policy changes

If a charge is introduced in the future, the journal must publish the amount, currency, covered services, taxes, waiver criteria and effective date before submission. A new charge will not be applied retroactively to manuscripts submitted while the no-fee policy was displayed unless the authors expressly agree and may withdraw without penalty.

Reporting improper requests

Authors who receive an unexpected payment request should not pay it. Forward the message to the Editorial Office through the contact details published on the journal website and include 'JEBSS fee concern' in the subject line.
