- Check the Submission Guidelines, Author Template, Publication Ethics and portal help text.
- Use the manuscript identifier in every message after submission.
- Do not create a new submission merely to replace a mistaken file.

Contact
For submission support, write to [email protected] with the subject 'JEBSS submission query - [manuscript ID or topic]'.
What the office cannot do
- Predict acceptance or guarantee a decision date.
- Provide reviewer identities or confidential editorial discussion.
- Edit, rewrite or evaluate a manuscript before formal submission.
- Accept payment to accelerate review or influence a decision.
- Change authorship without the documentation required by policy.
Response targets
The office should acknowledge routine technical queries within five working days. Status enquiries may take longer when a manuscript is with reviewers or awaiting an editorial decision. Authors should avoid repeated messages within the stated response period.
Withdrawals and author changes
A withdrawal request must come from the corresponding author and include agreement from all authors. Requests to add, remove or reorder authors require a reason and written consent from every affected person; they are not processed as routine technical corrections.
